Hello! My name is Dana Gurwell. I'm a 9th generation carpenter, with 38 years experience. My dad helped me with my first window when I was 10 years old. The feeling I got when the home owners told me I had done a good job has stuck with me to this day. Hearing things like that is what drives me to continue doing the best I can. I can do everything from hanging storm doors, to complete home renovations. I specialize in kitchens, baths, bars, wine cellars, and home theater rooms. My work means everything to me and comes second only to my family. The compliments from my customers are what keep me going. When I hear things like, "We won't miss the noise or the mess, but we will miss having you around." Or "this is more than we ever could have imagined!" I know this all might sound a little cliche but it's who I am.
What makes me better than other contractors is my ability to build relationships with my customers. I want my customers to feel comfortable with me from day 1. When the job is complete, I want the customer to feel 100% satisfied. I want them to feel they can refer me to others looking to have work done. My customers are a part of my company, not just another dollar sign.
